Bio
Kurtis Ford is a seasoned computational mechanics expert with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah. He has led analysis teams focused on multi-physics modeling for complex materials, including welds, additive manufacturing, ceramics, epoxy, and inorganic glass. Kurtis pioneered advanced modeling techniques for compact particle accelerators, streamlining automated digital design processes. He played a key role in the analysis of critical nuclear weapon components.
Kurtis also worked in a secure transportation group, overseeing crash analysis and spearheading the development of a Digital Twin.
